About Oracle Investigations Group

History has long defined an oracle as being a source of wise counsel or educated opinion. Derived from the Latin verb orare (to speak), oracles were often highly coveted in cultures and civilizations around the world, including ancient Egypt, Greece, China and Mesoamerica. These oracles were sought after for resolutions to everyday problems facing individuals and organizations alike.

At Oracle Investigations Group, Inc. we seek to continue with the traditions of these cultures by providing our clients with superior investigative ability and service. Oracle Investigations Group was founded by Brian Heider. Mr. Heider is a former educator, an experienced investigator and a law enforcement veteran who has spent significant time as a patrol officer, crime scene investigator, gang investigator, narcotics investigator and detective at a law enforcement agency in Orange County, CA. During his tenure as an investigator, Mr. Heider’s keen investigative skills and superior report writing abilities earned him numerous accolades and commendations, including the receipt of a prestigious Southern California “Officer of the Year” award.

In addition to a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Riverside, Mr. Heider has received over 350 hours of formalized training in investigative techniques, including most general and specific investigations. Mr. Heider is also a court-recognized expert in multiple disciplines and has authored many high-profile search warrants, pen registers and trap-and-trace affidavits which were used in the adjudication process of many important state and federal court proceedings. Mr. Heider has successfully interviewed hundreds of juveniles and adults during his career and has taught education and investigative subject matter to other community members and investigators. Mr. Heider is also a graduate of the prestigious Gavin DeBecker Advanced Threat Assessment Academy and regularly provides threat assessment and conflict resolution consulting services to clients. A career ending injury forced Mr. Heider into retirement from the law enforcement community at an early age. Determined to continue the same level of top-notch investigation, Mr. Heider formed Oracle Investigations Group. Mr. Heider has taken his experience and assembled a top-notch investigative agency comprised of investigators, assistants and consultants with unparalleled training and expertise. Our investigators hold noteworthy credentials and have achieved benchmark success as educators, administrators and investigators.
